Peerdea is a research project I worked on with Professor Chinmay Kulkarni and PhD. Candidate Yasmine Kotturi at CMU's Human Computer Interaction Institute. The goal of the project is to learn how to better support goal setting and management for creative entrepreneurs and small business owners
As a part of this project, I helped deploy the app for research at an incubator, sponsored by the makerspace PrototypePGH, with 8 small business owners
I also brainstormed new research and development paths regarding how to build tools for better goal-planning and supportive messaging for creative entrepreneurs
Within the app, I improved usability by building a tutorial in Node.js about how to invite peers to the app as well as robust group controls
